SOUTH BRUCE, ON – A community-driven process to determine how to measure South Bruce’s willingness to host a deep geological repository (DGR) for used nuclear fuel, was introduced to the Community Liaison Committee (CLC) and the public on Thursday evening.

Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission staff speak about radiation and health at CLC meeting

At the April meeting of the South Bruce Community Liaison Committee (CLC), the community and committee members received an educational presentation from staff at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).

The CNSC had previously held a public webinar for South Bruce residents in September 2020 and returned specifically to give an overview of radiation health basics to the CLC.
