SOUTH BRUCE, ON – The mayors of Clarington and Pickering spoke candidly about their experiences working and living with major nuclear facilities in their communities, at a panel discussion at the Community Liaison Committee (CLC) meeting Thursday evening.

Mayor Adrian Foster (Clarington) and Mayor Dave Ryan (Pickering) answered questions from the CLC and the public, including what they felt were positive, and negative impacts of being nuclear host communities.

Municipality of South Bruce State of Emergency Lifted

Effective November 3, 2021 at 12:50pm, Mayor Robert Buckle declared that the Emergency related to COVID-19 that was declared on March 23, 2020 in the Municipality of South Bruce, is now terminated in accordance with the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, R.S.O. 1990.

We will continue to follow the direction of the Grey Bruce Public Health Board and the Province of Ontario Mandates.
