The Municipality of South Bruce offers many activities for families and children to enjoy!

Movie and Activity Day

Join the Bruce County Library and Municipality of South Bruce for a fun filled afternoon at the Teeswater Town Hall!

Magical Chocolate Adventure- Activity and Movie at the Teeswater Town Hall

12:45pm- Doors Open

1:00pm- Crafts and Activities provided by the Bruce County Library

1:45pm- Moving Showing (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) rated PG.

2:45pm- Intermission and Donation Concession Stand

Cost: Free to attend, donation concession stand will be available during intermission.

Please note that food/drinks are not allowed in the auditorium where the movie will be shown. All food and drink must be consumed downstairs in the hall.

Baking Workshops

The baking workshops are designed to teach children the basics of baking- measuring, pouring, stirring and the most fun of all- DECORATING! Children will take home their treats at the end of each workshop.

Lego Clubs and Family Activities

Lego Club

Do you love building with Lego? This is the club for you! Participants will work collaboratively to complete weekly challenges and also have the opportunity to use the Lego creatively.

Winter Session

Ages: 7-12

Date: Wednesdays January 15-March 5 2025

Time: 6:00-7:00pm

Location: Teeswater Culross Community Centre

Fee: $50.00/person

How do I register for programs?

1. Complete a registration form

Registration forms can be sent directly to the Recreation Programmer or dropped off at the following locations:

Municipal Administration Office, during office hours (21 Gordon St. E, Teeswater ON)
Drop Boxes
- Mac's Milk (57 Elora & 1st St. Mildmay ON)
- Municipal Administration Office (21 Gordon St. E, Teeswater ON)

2. Complete payment

Please do not complete payment until you have received confirmation of availability for requested programs.

Payment can be made in on of the following ways:

Municipal Administration Office (21 Gordon St. East Teeswater)
Office Hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. Cash, debit, or cheque available for payment method
Drop Box Available at the front of the building. Please submit cheque payment in a secured envelope with the last name of the registered child(ren) and program name.

Mac’s Milk (57 Elora & 1st Street Mildmay)
Drop Box Available inside building. Please submit cheque payment in a labeled envelope with the last name of the registered child(ren) and program name.

E-transfer

If you prefer to may payment via e-transfer, please email or call the office 519-392-6623 ext 4.

Please note that an expression of interest or a completed registration form does not guarantee program registration. Spots cannot be held without payment. Official confirmation will be sent once payment has been made. Registration is based on a first come, first serve basis.

3. Complete any additional paperwork required

Additional paperwork will be sent after registration has been confirmed. This paperwork can range from trip forms, pizza forms etc.

Will I be able to get a refund?

All program cancellation requests must be received in writing, using the Recreation
Refund Form. The date that the Recreation Refund form is submitted will be used for
determining the refund based on the following:

Full refunds will be available for customers within the first 14 days after registration, minus a $25.00 administration fee
lf registration occurs less than 14 days before the start of the program or activity, refunds will not be available
Cancellations received after 14 days, but more than 14 days before the start date of the program or activity can transfer their registration to an alternative program or activity. lf no alternative is available, or if the cancellation is for exceptional reasons, a credit can be applied to the customer's account, minus the $25.00 administration fee. The credit has no expiry.
Cancellations occurring less than 14 days before the start date of a program or activity will receive no refund or credit.
ln the case of camps, if the program is waitlisted and the space is resold to another customer, then the customer will receive a credit on their account
lf the written request to withdraw is received within the first 2 weeks of the program a pro-rated refund will be calculated based on the number of completed classes minus a $25.00 administration fee.
lf a written request to withdraw is received after the second week of program no refund will be issued
In the case of a medical reason, a refund will be issues based on the pro-rated value of the remaining classes less the applicable administration fee, provided no more than 75% of the session has passed
For programs and activities cancelled by the Municipality of South Bruce, refunds will be issued
Portions of the registration fee paid to third party suppliers are non-refundable. Examples include program materials and supplies, such as books, t-shirts, food, admission tickets, travel fees etc.
If a participant is withdrawn from an activity or program, 50% of the remaining session will be refunded

All Refund Request forms must be submitted to the Recreation Programmer or at the Municipal Administration Office.
