The Municipality of South Bruce has many advisory boards and committees that help shape our community for the future. Our Committees of Council are made up of volunteer citizens who become involved to provide advice and recommendations to Council on a variety of issues.

Community Liaison Committee |
The Community Liaison Committee was formed to engage, educate and listen to the community of South Bruce regarding the Nuclear Waste Management Organization’s site selection process, to gather technical and social research and information related to the proposal and Adaptive Phased Management. South Bruce Tourism Committee |
The purpose of the South Bruce Tourism Committee is to develop and promote tourism within the villages and rural settings of the Municipality for the enjoyment and benefit of residents and visitors. Tree Committee |

Teeswater Culross Cemetery Board |
The Teeswater-Culross Cemetery Board are responsible for the oversight and administration of the Culross and Teeswater Cemetery, on behalf of the Municipality of South Bruce. Meeting timesMeetings dates and times are determined by the Chair. An annual general meeting is normally held at the end of January. This Committee meets in person. |
Teeswater Medical Centre Development Steering Committee |
The purpose of the Teeswater Medical Centre Development Steering Committee is to retain a medical centre facility and services in Teeswater. They provide oversight and direction with respect to all aspects of the planning, design and construction of the Teeswater Medical Centre Development Project, and make recommendations to South Bruce Council and the Clerk/CAO regarding all aspects of the Teeswater Medical Centre Development Project. Property Standards Committee |
The Property Standards Committee hears appeals against orders issued by the Property Standards Officer under the Property Standards By-Law. The Committee is made up of three member of the public appointed by Council. According to Section 15.3(3.1) of the Building Code Act, the Property Standards Committee has the power to:
