First Responders Day Appreciation

SOUTH BRUCE, ON -- On December 10th, 2013, the First Responders Day Act was passed into law by the Ontario Legislature. First Responders are those men and women who, in the early stages of an emergency, are responsible for the protection and preservation of life, property, evidence and the environment.

South Bruce Council and Staff would like to thank our Volunteer Firefighters at both Mildmay Carrick and Teeswater Culross stations for their dedication and honorable service to the community. We are fortunate to have you protecting our families and our community.

On May 1st we would encourage the members of our community to recognize and thank our Firefighters, as well as all First Responders who live in, and serve our community.

Thank you!
