Register Now: Agriculture Business Impact Study Workshop
The Municipality of South Bruce is developing an Agriculture Business Impact Study. This study will identify:
- the existing agricultural/agri-business profile of the local area
- the potential for the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) Project to change the agriculture/agri-business operations in the area
- potential strategies for use of the NWMO lands to facilitate new agri-business entrants
- potential strategies, if needed, to address a potential change in the value of the agricultural products.
Leading the study on behalf of the Municipality is MDB Insight, an experienced and respected consulting firm. Their consultants will be involved throughout the development of research and analysis for the Agriculture Business Impact Study, including all stakeholder engagement aspects.
In February 2022, workshop(s) will be hosted by MDB Insight for agriculture and agribusiness stakeholders to develop a draft vision for agriculture business in South Bruce and the region taking NWMO into consideration.
