DEADLINE EXTENDED - Seeking Expressions of Interest for Municipal Tree Committee Members
Currently, there are vacant seats on the Municipal Tree Committee. The Municipality of South Bruce Council is seeking interested individuals to participate and fill the vacancies. This Committee strives towards maintaining a healthy tree population in urban and rural areas of the Municipality.
Responsibilities of the committee are to act as an advisory body implementing the Tree Maintenance Policy, which includes the process for removal, trimming, replacement, disposal, payment and contraventions of the terms identified.
Interested individuals should send a Letter of Interest to the Committee Secretary preferably by April 30, 2023 at Noon. The Letter of Interest should include a summary of skills and experiences that would be an asset to the Committee, the reasons for wishing to serve on the Committee, a summary of their current knowledge of the project, and what they hope to achieve as a Member of the Committee.
