As of April 17, 2023 weight/load restrictions on all South Bruce roads has been lifted.

DEADLINE EXTENDED - Seeking Expressions of Interest for Municipal Tree Committee Members

Currently, there are vacant seats on the Municipal Tree Committee. The Municipality of South Bruce Council is seeking interested individuals to participate and fill the vacancies. This Committee strives towards maintaining a healthy tree population in urban and rural areas of the Municipality.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Open Fire Burn Ban Has Been Lifted

As of April 17, 2023 the open fire burn ban has been lifted.

With the rain last night and the lower temps and the fire index now at Low Risk and therefore the burn ban is lifted as of this morning.

PUBLIC NOTICE: OPEN AIR BURN BAN – Effective April 13, 2023

Due to dry conditions and municipal fire resources the Municipality of South Bruce, is issuing a Total Burn Ban in effect for the entire Municipality which includes campfires and recreational fires.  The burning ban is in place until further notice.
