TAKE NOTICE THAT the Municipality of South Bruce Council intends to appoint an individual to fill the vacant Council seat.
Following the decision of Council, the Municipality of South Bruce is now accepting applications to fill one (1) vacant Councillor position for the Mildmay Carrick Ward Councillor Position for the remainder of the 2022 – 2026 term of Council.

Concerning the 2023 Budget
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of South Bruce will be considering the 2023 Municipal Budget at its meeting on the 14th day of March, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of the 2023 budget is to establish the revenue and expenditures for the 2023 year for the Municipality of South Bruce including to provide for the final tax levy and collection of user fees, rates and levies for the Municipality of South Bruce for the 2023 year.

Effective Friday, February 17 weight/load restrictions (maximum 5 tonnes per axle) will be in effect on all Municipality of South Bruce Roads until further notice.
This restriction is in place to help protect roads from damage caused by heavy vehicles during spring thaw.

South Bruce, ON – Councillor Audrey Bross has resigned from South Bruce council. Her letter of resignation was formally received by council at their February 7th, 2023 special meeting.
Bross’ letter refers to looking at what is best for her family in her decision to resign. She was acclaimed as a Mildmay-Carrick Ward Councillor during the 2022 municipal election this past October and was sworn into office on November 15, 2022.

The traffic lights at the Elora Street & Absalom Street intersection in Mildmay will be non-operational until further notice. Please remember to treat this as a 4-way stop, until the repairs can be completed.
