Before and After School Care Program-Teeswater

We are excited to announce that a Before and After School Program in Teeswater is in the works! 

After investigating the need for this program through an online survey on www.southbruceswitchboard.ca, the results came back positive to support this Before and After School Program.  In order to ensure the program’s success, with the school year quickly approaching, we will not be ready to get the program and staffing in place by the beginning of the school year.  More likely, the timeline would be closer to the end of September but further communication will be delivered.

If the registrations numbers are positive, the Before and After Program will be offered starting at 6:30am and ending at 6:00pm at the Sacred Heart School Teeswater for school aged children ages 4 to 12.  The program will include activities such as: nutritional break, arts and crafts, sport activities, cultural activities and more. If your child attends Hillcrest School, staff members will walk the children from the one school to the other.

We will begin taking registrations immediately, in order to ensure that we have enough numbers to warrant the program to be financially viable.  You can find the registration form below or at the Municipal Office.  Program subsidy may be available by contacting the Bruce County Human Services Department at 519-881-0431.

This program will be a first come, first serve basis as spaces are limited. Priority will be given to those families that require 5 days a week care and the registrant will be contacted no later than August 23rd to confirm their spot so they have ample opportunity to find alternate care if required. A waiting list will be available if the registration numbers exceed our limits. Payment must be made in full for the 1st month to guarantee your spot.

Before Care - $11.50 per day   After Care - $11.50 per day
Before & After Care - $23.00 per day
Late Fees- $5.00 for every 5 minutes
