Digital Service Squad Member to Help South Bruce Businesses

We were recently awarded a regional grant to help our brick and mortar businesses with their digital needs.  We are pleased to announce that we have now hired Brooke Hagan as our Digital Service Squad member to help our South Bruce Businesses as well as Brockton Businesses!

Meet Brooke:

Brooke has a background in sales and as a social media coordinator. 

“I have had the opportunity to work alongside social media leaders and develop a skill set that helps me stand out from the rest. From managing accounts with 100 followers to 85K followers, I will transform your digital footprint. I am passionate about helping businesses establish an online presence, grow past their expectations and thrive in the competitive digital world. Beyond my professional background I love to be outside, close to nature and meeting new people.”

Just a reminder that this service is completely FREE to ALL brick-and-mortar businesses within South Bruce through this grant!  As you may remember back in 2019, we were successful with this grant and hired Laura Girdler (now Elliott) to meet with our main street businesses and helped them with their social media.  They have revamped this grant and is now open to all brick-and-mortar businesses not just main street businesses!

South Bruce businesses can connect with Brooke to receive FREE training to help:

 • adopt online technologies

• set up a basic website

• apply for a one-time $2,500 digital transformation grant through Digital Main Street (Deadline Nov 30^th)

• set up and maintain a Google My Business profile

• set up and maintain a social media presence (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc)

• set up a digital storefront or e-commerce platform

“This is a completely free service aimed at helping businesses establish and grow their online presence and connect with more customers. I am so excited to be part of this amazing opportunity for businesses within the Brockton and South Bruce areas,” Brooke said. “I am passionate about helping businesses grow past their expectations and thrive in a digital world.”

Unfortunately this is only a 4 month grant, so please do not hesitate to reach out to Brooke quickly as she wants to meet with you all within that time to help with your social media needs!  Great time right before Christmas to boost your online presence and to learn the best way to advertise your specific business and to apply for the one-time $2,500 digital transformation grant!
