EXTENDED - Seeking Expressions of Interest for Property Standards Committee Member Copy

Currently, there are vacant seats on the Property Standards Committee. The Municipality of South Bruce Council is seeking interested individuals to participate and fill the vacancies. This Committee considers appeals to property standard orders issued by the by-law enforcement officer.
Responsibilities of the committee are to hear appeals and may include confirmation, modification, or rescinding of an order to demolish or repair and/or extend the time for compliance of said property.

Interested individuals should send a Letter of Interest to the Deputy Clerk. The Letter of Interest should include: 

• a summary of skills and experiences that would be an asset to the Committee,
• the reasons for wishing to serve on the Committee,
• a summary of their current knowledge with the property standards, and
• what they hope to achieve as a Member of the Committee.
