Municipal Elections Act, 1996 (s.40)
A by-election will be held in the Municipality of South Bruce on
October 28, 2024
to submit the following question to the electors:
“Are you in favour of the Municipality of South Bruce declaring South Bruce to be a willing host for the Nuclear Waste Management Organization’s proposed Deep Geological Repository (DGR)?”
- Voting will be conducted using internet and telephone voting as authorized by By-law 2024-46. Voter Information letters with instructions to access telephone and internet voting will arrive in the mail approximately a week prior to the voting period.
- The voting period begins October 21, 2024 at 10 AM and closes at October 28, 2024 at 8 PM.
