South Bruce Announces New Fire Chief

SOUTH BRUCE, ON – Today, on behalf of Council, Municipality of South Bruce Mayor Mark Goetz announced that Jeremy Grant has joined the South Bruce staff in the role of Manger of Emergency Services/Fire Chief. Jeremy joined the South Bruce Team on September 4, 2024.

Jeremy brings over two decades of experience in emergency response, management, and leadership roles, ranging from Firefighter to Training Officer, Fire Inspector, to Chief Fire Official. His career has spanned various sectors, including the Municipal sector.

“We welcome Jeremy to South Bruce and are confident that he will be a strong leader of our fire and rescue teams” said Mayor Mark Goetz. “His wealth of experience and expertise along with his passion for the fire service will undoubtedly benefit our community.”

Jeremy will work collaboratively with the South Bruce Fire and Rescue Team at both the Teeswater and Mildmay Fire Stations and will provide overall administration and leadership of the department.
