South Bruce Councillor Resigns

South Bruce, ON – Councillor Audrey Bross has resigned from South Bruce council. Her letter of resignation was formally received by council at their February 7th, 2023 special meeting.

Bross’ letter refers to looking at what is best for her family in her decision to resign. She was acclaimed as a Mildmay-Carrick Ward Councillor during the 2022 municipal election this past October and was sworn into office on November 15, 2022.

Bross is a dedicated community member and was a valued representative of council. “Through her tenure with South Bruce council, Councillor Bross contributed greatly to discussions and she will be missed” said Mayor Mark Goetz

A report outlining next steps to fill the vacant position will be presented to council at the next regular council meeting in February.
