SOUTH BRUCE, ON –The Municipality of South Bruce is pleased to announce that Morgan Hickling has been hired as the new Community Liaison Committee (CLC) Project Coordinator, effective May 27th.
Following an interview process with several qualified local applicants, Hickling was selected to fill the role of CLC Project Coordinator.
Hickling graduated from the University of Guelph this Spring, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree as well as a Business Certificate. She is a proud South Bruce resident and is happy to be returning to work for the Municipality of South Bruce. Hickling was previously employed by the Municipality as a Parks and Recreation summer student in 2018, and she is knowledgeable about the Project from her position as a Developmental Engagement student last summer with the Nuclear Waste Management Organization.
“We are pleased to welcome Morgan Hickling to our municipal team, and I am confident she will be an excellent addition to our staff in the role of CLC Project Coordinator. She will be a reliable asset to the Community Liaison Committee in supporting their work, as well as the South Bruce Nuclear Exploration Project Team,” said Mayor Robert Buckle.
Hickling assumes the role previously held by Vivian Kennedy, who has been promoted to the role of Deputy Clerk for the Municipality of South Bruce.
