Ontario Learn and Stay Grant - The Ontario Learn and Stay Grant provides funding for students studying in priority programs in priority communities in Ontario. This program: requires you to learn and work in the region where you study, responds to labour market needs, including in health care, helps communities get the workers they need for in-demand professions. In addition to providing free tuition, the funding will cover the cost of: compulsory fees, books, other direct educational costs (for example, supplies, equipment).

ACE Mentor Program - The ACE Mentor Program of America (ACE) is a free, award-winning, afterschool program designed to attract high school students into pursuing careers in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering industry, including skilled trades. ACE is a federation of more than 75 affiliates (chapters), operating in 38 states and Canada, and largely based in metropolitan areas. A national office supports the affiliate programs.

Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) - The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program is a specialized program in high school that allows you to explore apprenticeship and consider careers in the skilled trades, generally starting in Grade 11 or Grade 12 through the cooperative education program.
OYAP in Bruce and Grey Counties Serving both the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board and the Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB) the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) is a secondary school cooperative education program that allows students to participate in an apprenticeship occupation while working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Ontario Hockey Officials - Officials perform a vital role in the game at all levels and are the third team on the ice, without whom the game would not happen. The Hockey Canada Officiating Program is for anyone interested in officiating the game of hockey, from beginners to seasoned veterans. There are six levels in the Officiating program, from those looking to get started to the top tier of officials. The lower levels are designed to get you started in officiating, while the higher levels are open to officials who have advanced through the lower levels and show potential to work the top levels of hockey in Canada, and internationally.
Baseball Canada Umpires - The mission of the Baseball Canada Umpire Development Committee is to meet the needs of Canadian umpires at various stages of development by creating training and resources while providing umpires with appropriate experiences.
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor - Getting certified is the first step towards working as an aquatics leader. After you have finished your courses, you will be a certified National Lifeguard and/or a Swim Instructor and eligible to apply to work at the YMCA (and many other organizations that recognize our Lifesaving Society credentials). Throughout the aquatic leadership courses, you will receive the knowledge you need to guard or teach effectively and you will also have opportunities to increase your leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Bruce 4-H Association - For over a century, 4-H Ontario has built youth into leaders in their communities and positive contributors to the world. With roots in rural Ontario, 4-H Ontario is open to all youth across the province. 4-H brings together youth aged 6-21 and passionate, engaged volunteer leaders to learn about selected topics through fun, hands-on activities and mentorship. There are also provincial camps, conferences, competitions and national and international travel opportunities available.
Launchpad - Launch Pad is an innovative youth centre located in Hanover that equips youth from across the region with the skills they will require for future employment opportunities. They provide fun and inclusive skill building programs that allow youth to explore their interests, develop their strengths, and learn more about the world of work.
