Ontario Student Assistance Program - The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program that can help you pay for college or university. OSAP offers funding through grants: money you don’t have to pay back, and student loans: money you need to repay once you’re done school.
Ontario Student Loans, Grants, Scholarships and Bursaries - Where to find money that can help you pay for a college, university or apprenticeship program after high school.
Ontario Learn and Stay Grant - The Ontario Learn and Stay Grant provides funding for students studying in priority programs in priority communities in Ontario. This program: requires you to learn and work in the region where you study, responds to labour market needs, including in health care, helps communities get the workers they need for in-demand professions. In addition to providing free tuition, the funding will cover the cost of: compulsory fees, books, other direct educational costs (for example, supplies, equipment).
Pay For School Grey Bruce - Community Foundation Grey Bruce encourages endowment building and facilitates philanthropic partnerships within all communities in Grey and Bruce, now and for future generations. Community Foundation Grey Bruce supports Grey Bruce residents through grants to community projects by nonprofit organizations and scholarships, bursaries or awards to students. Community Foundation Grey Bruce provides leadership in identifying community issues and convening discussion.

South Grey Bruce Youth Literacy Council - The South Grey Bruce Youth Literacy Council is a local community-based organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for school-aged children and youth (6-18), to improve literacy and numeracy skills.
Ontario Learn at Home - Find made-in-Ontario activities, courses and more to keep the learning going, from home.
Khan Academy - Offers daily schedules for students ages 4-18. The free website also has courses in math, physics, U.S. history, grammar, economics and biology.
EdX - An online platform that offers more than 2,500 courses online for free.
The STEAM Project - They believe in empowering youth by providing them with the tools & skills needed to succeed. By making learning engaging and fun, their students are inspired to continue exploring the possibilities of the world around them.
ACE Mentor Program - The ACE Mentor Program of America (ACE) is a free, award-winning, afterschool program designed to attract high school students into pursuing careers in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering industry, including skilled trades. ACE is a federation of more than 75 affiliates (chapters), operating in 38 states and Canada, and largely based in metropolitan areas. A national office supports the affiliate programs.

Ontario Colleges - How to Apply - The first step in applying to college is to research the programs and colleges available to you. If you have not already decided what programs you are applying to, you can: See their College Map to find a campus near you, browse their Find a Program tool to see all college programs offered in Ontario, visit college websites for more details about their programs and admission requirements, and/or attend a college recruitment event to meet college representatives. The next step is to create an account with ontariocolleges.ca and begin your college application.

| An apprenticeship is a pathway to a rewarding career in the trades. As an apprentice, you take classes and learn your trade by working under the direction of experienced workers – and get paid while you do it. |
Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) - The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program is a specialized program in high school that allows you to explore apprenticeship and consider careers in the skilled trades, generally starting in Grade 11 or Grade 12 through the cooperative education program.
OYAP in Bruce and Grey Counties Serving both the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board and the Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB) the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) is a secondary school cooperative education program that allows students to participate in an apprenticeship occupation while working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Skilled Trades Ontario Portal - The Skilled Trades Ontario Portal provides individuals with secure access to online services. The portal allows users to apply for an apprenticeship program, change their sponsor and more.

Ontario Soccer Referee - Ontario Soccer, along with its many District branches and Clubs, is always looking to help new Match Officials get going! Ontario Soccer offers three courses for those looking to become registered Match Officials: Small Sided Clinics, Entry Level Clinics, and Futsal Clinics.
Ontario Hockey Officials - Officials perform a vital role in the game at all levels and are the third team on the ice, without whom the game would not happen. The Hockey Canada Officiating Program is for anyone interested in officiating the game of hockey, from beginners to seasoned veterans. There are six levels in the Officiating program, from those looking to get started to the top tier of officials. The lower levels are designed to get you started in officiating, while the higher levels are open to officials who have advanced through the lower levels and show potential to work the top levels of hockey in Canada, and internationally.
Baseball Canada Umpires - The mission of the Baseball Canada Umpire Development Committee is to meet the needs of Canadian umpires at various stages of development by creating training and resources while providing umpires with appropriate experiences.
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor - Getting certified is the first step towards working as an aquatics leader. After you have finished your courses, you will be a certified National Lifeguard and/or a Swim Instructor and eligible to apply to work at the YMCA (and many other organizations that recognize our Lifesaving Society credentials). Throughout the aquatic leadership courses, you will receive the knowledge you need to guard or teach effectively and you will also have opportunities to increase your leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Huron and Bruce Safe T Training - HB Safety is dedicated to providing top quality health and safety training, with engaging and hands-on learning opportunities both online and in the classroom. Courses include Construction Site Hazards, WHIMIS, Ladder Safety, Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training, and much more.
St. John Ambulance Health and Safety - St. John Ambulance has been ensuring the health, safety and quality of life for Canadians for over 135 years. St. John Ambulance offers the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art first aid and CPR training programs.
Canadian Red Cross Health and Safety - A course catalog to find a course near you provided by Red Cross. Courses categories are Babysitter and Children Safety, First-Aid and CPR, Instructor Courses, Occupational Health and Safety, Psychological First-Aid, and Respect Education.

Skills Opportunity Showcase - The 24’ long trailer travels to strategic events, schools and other community functions highlighting career and training opportunities in Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties. Our objective is to reach students and parents to inform them about career opportunities through an interactive experience. Bruce 4-H Association - For over a century, 4-H Ontario has built youth into leaders in their communities and positive contributors to the world. With roots in rural Ontario, 4-H Ontario is open to all youth across the province. 4-H brings together youth aged 6-21 and passionate, engaged volunteer leaders to learn about selected topics through fun, hands-on activities and mentorship. There are also provincial camps, conferences, competitions and national and international travel opportunities available.
Launchpad - Launch Pad is an innovative youth centre located in Hanover that equips youth from across the region with the skills they will require for future employment opportunities. They provide fun and inclusive skill building programs that allow youth to explore their interests, develop their strengths, and learn more about the world of work.
